We are temporarily placing a hold on accepting any new pets at this time.  Recently several of BAR’s fosters have PCSed out.  Until our pool of foster families is replenished, we will be unable to accommodate any more pets.

Buddy is very smart and loving.  He is great with other dogs, cats and kids.  Sadly Buddy has had a long history of being in and out of homes. And because of this, he needs a family that will not be gone for long hours at a time and can give him the extra love and patience to work with him.

The storybook What’s the Matter with Henry? has been used by schools and in hospitals to overcome stigma, and to help individuals begin to see themselves as more than their disability.    

                                !!Adopt - Foster - Volunteer!!

Prior to establishment of Base Animal Rescue, all stray or abandoned animals found on CFAS properties were sent to be euthanized. These animals had no humane chance of having a life with a loving family.

Since our founding in 2005, Base Animal Rescue has become an important part of the CFAS community. We have helped over 100 cats and dogs find loving homes.

The continued success of this organization depends completely upon its volunteers.  Whether you are able to help a little or a lot, your membership in BAR would be greatly appreciated.
